The MAC address at which computers or other devices can access the FRITZ!Box depends on whether the device is connected to the FRITZ!Box via a network cable or Wi-Fi.

1 Determining the FRITZ!Box's Wi-Fi MAC address

  1. Click 'Wi-Fi' in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click 'Wi-Fi Network' ('Radio Network') in the 'Wi-Fi' ('Wireless') menu.
  3. Make note of the MAC address listed in the section '2.4-GHz frequency band' or '5-GHz frequency band'. If the MAC address is not displayed, enable the Advanced View first.

2 Determining the FRITZ!Box's LAN MAC address

  5. Make note of the IP address of the FRITZ!Box displayed next to the entry 'Address:'.
  6. Enter arp [IP address of the FRITZ!Box] and press Enter.
